Craft Beer 101 ‘class’ - featuring international brews
School has never tasted so good
Continuing on from the Craft Beer 'class' discovering local beers, this evening continues by exploring beers from around the world.
Join us in the tank & kettle room of Ottawa’s own brewery - Kichesippi Beer Company. This evening will be enjoyed by both those who have attended previous Savvy U beer classes and beer enthusiasts alike. You will sample five to seven brews as you learn the method & artistry of international craft beers:
- different styles of beer making
- beer tasting techniques
- speaking the beer lingo like a pro
- food & beer pairings
- each beer has its own glass - what difference does it make ?
- how to pour a 'proper' pint
- taste to appreciate the different types and styles of beers
- signature brews from different countries
- how beer is made at Kichesippi with a brewery tour from Paul
Since homework is improved with a snack, assorted charcuterie & local artisan cheeses will be provided.
